Braintree Incapacitated Individuals Case Summaries Lawyer

Representative Guardianship or Conservator Matters handled by the Gemma Law Office, P.C.

Scenario A: Family member contacts our Office and seeks advice regarding an older parent, or incapacitated loved one, who needs the help of another to carry out personal and financial matters on their behalf. Often, the individual faces the onset of dementia, Alzheimer's type or other degenerative diseases that affect their cognitive ability. We help client to obtain legal authority to act on behalf of the incapacitated individual through the Court.

Scenario B: Same as the first scenario, except that the incapacitated individual requires action to carry out a beneficial financial plan, often involving the transfer of assets /real estate.

Scenario C: Client, facing declining abilities but still competent, seeks to establish an estate plan. We develop a comprehensive, individualized plan designed to prevent the need for a guardianship or conservatorship in case of disability, while addressing necessary tax planning, asset distribution, asset preservation, as well as continued and future protection of family beneficiaries.
